Website information

Website terms and technical boundaries

The guidance helps structure an application discussion; it is not a final machine specification, food-process validation or safety assessment.

Guidance status

The website provides general application guidance for jams, sauces, preserves, chutneys, pickles and related products. It is intended to help users gather project inputs and understand production stages. It should not be treated as professional food-technology, microbiological, legal, regulatory, engineering-safety or packaging-compliance advice.

Equipment selection and performance

No page, calculator, selector result, image, example or throughput band constitutes a binding quotation or performance guarantee. Final suitability, output, dose result, cleanability, closure/seal result and integration scope depend on the exact product, pack, materials, utilities, layout, operating method and representative trials.

Any machine specification and commercial commitment is contained only in a formal quotation or contract issued for the project.

Product safety, preservation and shelf life

The producer is responsible for recipe, allergens, hygiene, pH, water activity, thermal treatment, preservatives, shelf life, storage, labelling and all food-safety validation. Hot filling, cold filling, rinsing, vacuum capping and sealing equipment support a defined process but do not establish that the process is safe or compliant.

Machinery safety and workplace controls

Hot product, pressure, moving machinery, glass, steam, cleaning chemicals and manual handling can present serious hazards. A project-specific risk assessment, machine design review, guarding, controls, instructions, training, PPE and safe system of work are required. The website cannot replace those activities.

Accuracy and availability

Reasonable care has been taken in preparing the site, but information may become incomplete or outdated and the website may be unavailable. Verify all material project decisions through current written specifications and a formal application review.

Turn your product and pack into a testable production route.

Share representative product, containers, closures, labels and your required output. Define the operating window and agree what a successful trial must demonstrate.
